AI in AmpliFlow

AI That Knows Your Business

AI in AmpliFlow uses your data to give you results that actually matter — not generic suggestions anyone could get from ChatGPT. Here's exactly how it works, what data is used, and what guardrails are in place.

How Your Data Powers Better Results

AI in AmpliFlow uses your data to give you contextual, grounded results — that's what makes it valuable.

We don't give AI free access to everything. Each AI function sends targeted, relevant context for the specific task. When you activate AI features, you choose to send data to AI providers. This is always opt-in, per feature.

Our AI Principles

Five principles that govern how we build and use AI in AmpliFlow.

Humans Decide

AI suggests, you decide. All AI-generated suggestions require human review and approval before saving. You always have full control.

Transparent

You always see when AI is involved. AI features are clearly labeled in the interface so you know what is a suggestion and what is your own content.

Your Data, Your Choice

AI features are opt-in. When activated, relevant data from your account is sent to AI providers to give contextual results. AmpliFlow reserves the right to use anonymized data for training and improving its own models — such data can never be traced back to your organization.

Secure

Data is sent encrypted to AI providers. AmpliFlow sends only the data relevant to the specific task — not your entire database.

EU AI Act Compliant

We follow the EU AI Act and its principles of human oversight, transparency, and responsible AI use.

AI Features in AmpliFlow

Each AI feature is designed with human oversight as a requirement. Here's how it works:

Risk Scenarios

AI reads your existing risks, industry, and organization context to suggest risk scenarios grounded in your reality — not generic templates. You review, adjust, and approve before anything is saved.

Your role: Reviews and approves each scenario

Consequence Analysis

AI analyzes the risk scenario you describe alongside your organization context to suggest potential consequences relevant to your specific situation.

Your role: Selects which consequences are relevant

Mitigation Suggestions

AI suggests risk-reducing measures based on the full picture — your scenario, consequences, and existing controls — so suggestions build on what you already have in place.

Your role: Decides if measure should be implemented

Improvement Suggestions

AI helps formulate improvement suggestions and root cause analyses using context from your deviations and processes, so the output connects to your actual operations.

Your role: Responsible for analysis and decision

Website Content

AI agents help us write content on this website. They never access the production database or customer data — everything is reviewed and fact-checked by humans.

Your role: Reviews, fact-checks, and publishes

EU AI Act

The EU AI Act came into force in 2024 and sets requirements for how AI systems may be used. The regulation classifies AI systems by risk and requires specific measures for high-risk systems.

AmpliFlow's AI features are classified as limited risk because they:

  • Are used as support tools, not for automated decisions
  • Do not affect fundamental rights
  • Require human review for all outputs
  • Are transparent about AI being used

We follow the regulation's transparency requirements (Article 52) and ensure that users are always informed when they interact with AI-generated content.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are AI models trained on our data?

AmpliFlow reserves the right to use anonymized customer data for finetuning and training its own models. Anonymized means the data cannot be traced back to your organization. We do not give identifiable customer data to third-party AI providers for their model training.

What data does AI have access to?

When you use an AI feature, AmpliFlow sends relevant context for that specific task to the AI provider. For example, when generating risk scenarios, the AI receives information about your industry, existing risks, and organization context. It does not get access to your entire database. AI agents that build our website never access customer data.

Where is data processed?

Data is processed by AI providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) via encrypted APIs. When you activate an AI feature, you are choosing to send that data to these providers. AmpliFlow sends only the data relevant to the specific task.

How is this different from using ChatGPT?

Context. A CEO asking ChatGPT gets generic answers based on public knowledge. AmpliFlow's AI is grounded in your actual data — your risks, your processes, your organization — which means you get relevant, actionable suggestions instead of generic advice you still need to adapt.

Can AI make decisions for us?

No. AI in AmpliFlow is designed as a support tool. All suggestions require human review and approval. AI can never automatically create, modify, or delete records in your system.

How do you comply with the EU AI Act?

AmpliFlow's AI features are classified as low or limited risk under the EU AI Act. We ensure human oversight, transparency about AI use, and document our AI systems according to the regulation's requirements.

Can we turn off AI features?

Yes. AI assistance is entirely optional and opt-in. You can use AmpliFlow without AI features, and each individual AI feature can be enabled or disabled separately.
