How long does installation really take?
From unboxing to printing your first label: typically 5-15 minutes. Plug in Ethernet and power, enter the pairing code shown on the device into AmpliFlow, and you're connected. No network configuration required if your network allows outbound connections.
What happens when the device breaks?
We ship you a replacement. You unplug the broken device, plug in the new one, pair it with the same code process, and you're back online. Send the broken device back to us. Total downtime is typically under 30 minutes once the replacement arrives.
Do I need IT involved?
Only if your network blocks outbound connections. AmpliFlow Box connects outbound to our cloud service, so no firewall ports need to be opened. Most companies can set it up without any IT involvement.
What devices are supported?
Currently we support Brother QL series label printers and Honeywell ZPL printers for label printing. Temperature sensors and PLC integration are coming soon. Contact us if you have specific device requirements.
Can I have multiple boxes?
Yes. Each AmpliFlow Box is independent. Put one in production, one in shipping, one in the warehouse. Each manages its own connected devices and syncs with AmpliFlow independently.
What's the difference from traditional MES?
Traditional MES systems require months of implementation, specialized consultants, and cost hundreds of thousands or millions. AmpliFlow Box is plug-and-play hardware that you can set up yourself in minutes. It's not a replacement for full MES, but it solves the most common integration needs at a fraction of the cost and complexity.
Is my data secure?
AmpliFlow Box connects to AmpliFlow cloud using encrypted connections. No data is stored locally on the device. The device cannot be accessed from the internet - it only makes outbound connections to our servers.
