Production traceability without MES complexity

Plug in. Print labels. Full traceability.

MES systems cost millions and take years to implement. AmpliFlow Box gives you production labels, quality documentation, and equipment tracking with a simple plug-and-play setup. Add more devices as you scale - no project overhead.

For manufacturing companies that need ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100 compliance.

The Problem

Traceability requirements, but MES is overkill

ISO 9001 clause 8.5.2 requires product identification and traceability. But traditional MES systems are expensive, complex, and take forever to implement.

MES costs millions

Traditional MES implementations run into millions in licenses, consulting, and integration. Often overkill for your actual traceability needs.

Years to implement

MES projects take 12-24 months. By the time it's live, your requirements have changed. And you still need IT for every modification.

Manual label writing

Without automation, operators handwrite labels or use disconnected systems. Illegible handwriting, missing batch numbers, no link to quality records.

Audit traceability gaps

Auditors ask to trace a part back to its inspection. You dig through paper records hoping the operator wrote down the right batch number.

The Solution

Production labels linked to your quality system

AmpliFlow Box connects your checklists to label printers on the shop floor. Complete a step, print a label. Full traceability without MES complexity.

WIP labels at each station

Operator completes a checklist step, label prints automatically with part number, batch, operator name, and timestamp. Traceability through the entire production process.

Quality checkpoint documentation

ISO 9001 clause 8.6 requires release verification. Quality check completed? Label prints as proof. Links the inspection record to the physical product.

Equipment calibration labels

ISO 9001 clause 7.1.5 requires calibrated equipment. Calibration checklist completed? Status label prints with next calibration due date. Visible on the equipment.

Shipping labels on release

Final inspection passed? Shipping label prints automatically. Customer-specific label formats. Barcode for scanning at receiving.

Non-conformance identification

Deviation registered? Red HOLD label prints immediately. Clear identification of non-conforming product per ISO 9001 clause 8.7. No mix-ups.

PLC integration (coming)

Connect to production equipment for automatic data logging. Quality data from machines without manual entry. Full production visibility.

FAQ

Questions about AmpliFlow Box for manufacturing

Common questions from production and quality managers.

How is this different from a regular label printer?

A regular label printer requires someone to design and print labels manually. AmpliFlow Box connects your checklists to the printer - when an operator completes a step, the label prints automatically with all the right data. No manual entry, no typos, full traceability back to the quality record.

What if the printer runs out of labels mid-shift?

AmpliFlow tracks printer status and alerts you when labels are running low. If a print fails, the operator sees an error message and can retry. Nothing is lost, and failed prints are logged for investigation.

Can we use our existing label printers?

We currently support Brother QL series and Honeywell ZPL printers. If you have other printers, contact us and we'll investigate compatibility. Adding new printer support is straightforward.

How does this help during audits?

Auditors love traceability. With AmpliFlow Box, every label links back to the checklist completion that triggered it. Ask about a specific part? Pull up the label, see who completed the inspection, when, and what they verified. All in seconds.

What about harsh production environments?

AmpliFlow Box is designed for industrial use. The device itself stays in a protected location (office, server room). Only the printer sits at the workstation. Printers are relatively cheap to replace if damaged.

Can operators print labels on demand?

Labels can be configured to print automatically when checklist steps complete, or operators can trigger prints manually from the checklist interface. You decide what works best for each use case.

What data goes on the labels?

Anything from your checklist: part numbers, batch numbers, serial numbers, operator name, timestamps, inspection results, customer references, barcodes, QR codes. Labels are fully configurable per use case.
