This guide describes how you as a Microsoft 365 administrator install the AmpliFlow app for Microsoft Teams in your organization.

Prerequisites

You need administrator rights in Microsoft 365 and access to AmpliFlow’s administrator settings.

Step by step

  1. Navigate to AmpliFlow / Administrator / Settings.
  1. Enable SSO if it is not already enabled. Follow the guide for enabling SSO if you need help with that. This step is optional but recommended.

  2. Generate and download a Microsoft Teams app package. The file is called manifest-ampliflow.zip.

  1. Navigate to Teams Admin Center: https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/

  2. Select Upload new app.

  1. Upload the file manifest-ampliflow.zip.
  1. Once the app has been uploaded, navigate to Manage apps and search for “AmpliFlow”.
  1. Click on Permissions and then Grant admin consent.
  1. Grant permissions and verify that you receive a green confirmation message.

Optional: Configure global pinning policy

You can control who gets the app loaded by default. Here is how to add AmpliFlow for all Microsoft 365 users through the global policy:

  1. Go to Teams apps / Setup policies and click on Global (Org-wide default).
  1. Under Pinned Apps, click Add apps and then select “Global”. Search for “AmpliFlow”.

  2. Click Add at the bottom of the page. You should now see the app in the list of pinned apps. Drag AmpliFlow to the desired position and then click Save.

Done

The policy may take some time to propagate to all users. Consider adding a reminder to verify that your users see the app after a day or two.
